Book Club 2 is an upcoming English movie released on May 12, 2023. Book Club: Next Chapter is an American romantic comedy written and directed by Bill Holderman and starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen. This movie is a sequel to the 2018 movie Book Club.
Four older best friends take their book club to Italy for the funniest girls’ trip ever. When things get out of hand and mysteries are revealed, a relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.
In May 2022, Variety announced the following for Book Club 2 production on the next chapter began with Keaton, Fonda, Bergen, Steenburgen, Garcia, Johnson and Nelson reprising their roles from the first film. Focus Features will replace Paramount Pictures as the distributor in the United States, while Universal Pictures will distribute in other markets.
In case you missed it, the first teaser trailer was originally released on Monday, December 19th as an early holiday treat. The trailer teases a girl’s trip to Italy, where everyone on TV and in movies these days seems to go to White Lotus from here. Incredible situation comedy teases a great time at the cinema, including mistaking a nasty Italian cop for a stripper.
