Chatrapathi is an upcoming Hindi movie released on May 12, 2023. Chatrapathi is a 2023 Indian Hindi action drama film directed by V.V. Vinayak and produced by Jayantilal Gada for Pen India Limited. S.S. Rajamouli’s official remake of his 2005 Telugu film Chatrapathi, starring Prabhas. The film stars Velamkonda Sreenivas in Hindi in the title role and Nushrat Varch. Scheduled to be released on May 12, 2023. The movie also stars Karan Singh Chhabra, Vedika Nawani, Sahil Vaid, Auroshikha Dey, and many others in prominent roles.
Chhatrapati is separated from her family by her jealous brothers and becomes a slave labourer. In search of his mother, Chhatrapati becomes the saviour of the oppressed and people start calling themselves saviours.
Music was composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The film is being produced by Akshay Gada, Dhavar Gada and Jayanthilal Gada under the Penn Studios banner. The film is an official remake of the Telugu blockbuster Chhatrapati, played by rebel stars Prabhas and S. Rajamouli. Both Hindi and Telugu versions were written by Vijayendra Prasad.
