Bunny aur Babli 2 is an upcoming crime comedy film produced by Aditya Chopra. The Yashraj film stars Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Gully Boy fame Siddhanth Chaturvedi and debutant Sharvari Wagh.

The movie is a sequel to the 2005 blockbuster Bunty aur Babli starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. The film is still remembered for a popular item song ‘Kajrare’ sung by Alisha Chinoy and performed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The prequel was directed by Shaad Ali who had also directed the 2002 hit Saathiya, starring Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji. Bunty and Babli 2 is being directed by debutante director Varun V Sharma.

The movie will see the comeback of one of the most loved on-screen pairs, Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji who were last seen together in the 2008 film ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’. Their chemistry was loved by masses in hits like Hum & Tum in 2004 and Ta Ra Rum Pum in 2007. The film was slated to release on 23rd April 2021 but got delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
