Netflix’s new docu-series, Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space, is set to premiere on 6 September 2021. The series follows four civilians on their three-day space adventure orbiting Earth, reaching a higher altitude than that of the International Space Station (ISS).
This thrilling documentary captures a historic step for human civilization. The SpaceX Dragon mission, titled Inspiration4, is the epitome of development in an all-civilian space exploration trip to space. From training to launch to landing, the series has it all.
The four crew members on the mission include billionaire Jared Isaacman, cancer survivor Hayley Arceneaux (invited by Isaacman), data engineer Chris Sembroski and geoscientist, science communicator and artist Sian Proctor. The docu-series is co-produced by Time Studios and is directed by Jason Hehir, also known for his work on the famous Michael Jordan series “The Last Dance.”
