The forthcoming American supernatural horror comedy film Haunted Mansion, with a script by Katie Dippold, is being directed by Justin Simien. LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jared Leto are among the actors that appear in the movie. It is the second cinematic film version of Walt Disney’s theme park attraction The Haunted Mansion, following the 2003 movie of the same name, and was made by Walt Disney Pictures and Rideback. In the movie, Travis (Chase W. Dillon) and Gabbie (Dawson) enlist a group to assist exorcise their home and kill the spirits around them.
Plot- After moving into a mansion with her kid, a single mother discovers that it is haunted. They employ a former paranormal investigator, a priest, a psychic, and a college history professor to exorcise the ghosts.
Principal photography took place in Atlanta, Georgia, and New Orleans, Louisiana, between October 4, 2021, and late February 2022. Trilith Studios also saw production. Haddish encountered legal issues after being detained on a DUI charge on January 14, 2022, while the movie was still being filmed in Georgia. The visual effects will be performed by Industrial Light & Magic and DNEG.
