The new addition to the Netflix sci-fi section held the attention of all its viewers and have them on their tippy-toes for the next season. The show is based on the novel The Old Axolotl by Jacek Dukaj, a polish writer and is heavily influenced by Stephen King.
The Belgian production is a six-episode series with thirty-five minutes each has the same runtime as ‘The Irishman‘. The first season takes off with a man barging into a flight on the runway, all ready to take off claiming that he is from NATO and is trying to save them. He reveals that the sun has become poisonous and they immediately need to head to the west as in head into the night. The problem here is that the flight does not have a lot of crew and only contains passengers, but they still manage to take off.
The second instalment of the series is due for its release on the 8th of September, where the audience will receive insight on how people survive without seeing the sun.
