For all the true-crime documentary lovers out there, there is a new show that is coming up. On September 9, a new series called “The Women and the Murderer” will be released on Netflix.
Based on the true stories of Guy Georges, this French documentary will show how two women police officers had caught the “narcissistic psychopath”. Guy Georges was a notorious serial killer who had killed seven women between the years 1991 and 1997. Also known as “The Beast of the Bastille”, this serial killer had not only raped and killed seven women, but had also assaulted several others, and tried to even stab and strangle a few others.
He was finally arrested on 26th March 1998, and he also confessed to his crimes. In 2001, he was given life imprisonment for his ghastly crime.
The trailer did excite us quite a lot, and we have some high expectations from the series. It will also be quite an interesting perspective to see two women catching the culprit.
