Lokesh Kanagaraj is the director of the forthcoming Tamil-language action movie Leo, which is being promoted as Leo: Bloody Sweet. He also co-wrote the script with Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. Seven Screen Studio and The Route are the producers. In addition to Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mansoor Ali Khan, the film also has Vijay as the main.
As it is Vijay’s 67th film as a lead actor, the movie was formally announced in January 2023 under the working title Thalapathy 67. A few days later, the title of the movie was revealed. The same month, principal photography in Chennai and occasional filming in Kashmir began. It is expected to end towards the middle of July. Manoj Paramahamsa handled the cinematography for the movie, and Philomin Raj handled the editing. Anirudh Ravichander created the music.
On October 19, 2023, Leo is slated for release in theatres all around the world.
