The God of Mischief is back! Yes, it’s true. The God of Mischief, Loki has died a number of times but will be back for his own time travelling Disney+ Series.
Marvel’s President Kevin Feige has described Disney+’s new Loki Show as a time jumping crime Thriller, directed by Kate Herron, written by Michael Waldron starring Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer, Wummi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, additionally Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane and Engene Cordero.
Premise- After stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), an alternate version of Loki is brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline.
They give Loki a choice: face being erased from existence due to being a “Time-Variant” or help fix the timeline and stop a greater threat. Loki ends wrapped up in his own crime thriller, travelling through time and altering human history. This Marvel series debuts on Disney+ on the 9th of June’21, releasing weekly on Wednesday’s and will consist of 6 episodes.
