“Love & Gelato” is a film adaptation of a book of the same name by the New York Times bestselling author Jenna Evans Welch. Welch became popular from his second book ‘Spells for Lost Things’. And follow-ups to Love & Gelato. The Netflix film Benji is his best-known work. He has written and directed it.
Camp David Bottom, Gennaro Formisano, and Viola Prestige all signed in as a producer. Production took place throughout June 2021 in Florence, Italy although it is unknown when filming wrapped. We now have an official release date.
This Romance film will be released on Netflix on Wednesday 22 June 2022. The story follows a young woman named Lina who travels to Italy to fulfil her late mother’s last wish to know her father, but once Lina. To make it abroad, she films herself exposed to new experiences. Gets drifting in the Whirlwind and discovers more than she expected.
