Luca is an Upcoming American Animated comedy fantasy film written by Mike Jones and Jesse Andrews and directed by Enrico Casarosa produced by Andrea Warren under the banners of Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios.
The film is distributed all over the world by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The voice for animated characters given by Jacob Tremblay, Jack Dylan Grazer, Emma Berman, Marco Barricelli, Saverio Raimondo, Maya Rudolph, and Jim Gaffigan. The story of the film revolves around a young boy Luca who shares an adventure with his newly made friend Alberto. But they both hide secrets from each other about being sea monsters. Originally the movie was expected to be released in theatres in the US on the 18th June 2021 but held back due to the ongoing Pandemic.
On March 23rd, Disney announced that the movie will be released on the OTT platform, Disney +. And in those countries where Disney + is not available, the movie will be released theatrically.
