Madgaon Express is a Hindi comedy-drama film hitting theatres on the 28th of December,2023. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Kunal Khemu, who also co-wrote the script.
Excel Entertainment, known for backing successful films like Dil Dhadakne Do and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, has produced the movie, the budget of the movie is about rupees 20 crores. The movie has stunning visuals of the Konkan coastline.
The film revolves around a motley crew of passengers aboard the Madgaon Express. We have Ranjit, a struggling writer (played by Divyendu Sharma), Vimla played by Norah Fatehi a dancer with a mysterious past, then there is Naik(Pratik Gandhi) a quirky businessman with a heart of gold and Gopal(Avinash Tiwary) a naive small town boy.
As the train hurtles towards its destination, hilarious situations arise from clashing personalities and hidden secrets. Madgaon Express boasts a stellar cast, each bringing their unique charm to the screen. Divyendu Sharma, known for his comic timing, is perfectly cast as the frustrated writer.
Nora Fatehi sizzles as the enigmatic dancer, while Pratik Gandhi delivers his signature quirky charm. Avinash Tiwary adds a touch of innocence to the mix, and the supporting cast, including Remo Dsouza and Upendra Limaye, provides further comedic firepower.
