Devil a Telugu-language spy thriller movie will be hitting the theatres on December 29th, 2023. The movie takes us back to the 1940s immersing us in the world of Madras Presidency under the rule of the British.
Our protagonist, Krishna (played by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram), is a suave and skilled undercover agent codenamed ‘Devil’. Operating under the radar, he embarks on a perilous mission to uncover a sinister plot orchestrated by the British that threatens the very future of India.
He must traverse a labyrinth of deception, deal with crafty opponents, and even confront his inner demons. Along the way, he meets Maya (played by Samyuktha Menon), a seductive lady with a secret motive who disrupts his goal. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, recognised for his versatility and action prowess, leads a brilliant group.
He effortlessly portrays the enigmatic ‘Devil’ with charisma and fire. As Maya, Samyuktha Menon adds a layer of mystery and intrigue, keeping fans guessing about her actual motivations. Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, and Nassar are among the noteworthy names in the supporting cast, and their seasoned performances enrich the plot.
Abhishek Nama’s directorial debut, Devil, gives a novel viewpoint to the spy thriller genre. Abhishek Pictures produces pictures, that promise high production values and amazing images. Devil, with a rumoured budget of 50 crore, is set to be a visual extravaganza, meticulously recreating the colonial era.
