Tarsem Jassar, a singer-turned-actor, revealed a Punjabi movie with the working title “Mastaney” on his social media account last year.
Simi Chahal will play Tarsem’s leading woman in this Sharan Art-written and Sharan Art-directed film, with supporting performances from Karamjit Anmol, Baninder Bunny, Honey Mattu, and Gurpreet Ghuggi.
The movie was supposed to be released on July 1 of last year, however, the most recent update revealed that the new release date will be June 9, 2023.
The movie is being produced by Manpreet Johal, Ashu Munish Sahni, and Gurwinder Singh Dhillon in association with Vehli Janta Films, Omjee Star Studios, and Fateh Films.
The announcement has been made while keeping the majority of the details a secret. In Punjabi, Tarsem had written, “This was my dream project and the entire team has been working on it for the past three years,” as the caption for the announcement post, which has now been deleted. I’m glad I can finally share it with you all today. This historical account of the Sikh warriors is being presented.
