The social drama film Mr Pregnant, starring Syed Sohel Ryan and Roopa Kodayur, will be released in theatres on August 18. The official announcement was made by the movie’s producers on Wednesday morning. The male lead in the movie has a growing baby bump in the first image, while the female lead is holding a mammogram.
The teasers for the movie, which were made public a few months ago, also suggest that it will explore the difficulties faced by pregnant women while adding a dash of drama. Suhasini Maniratnam plays a doctor in Mr Pregnant. Raja Rabindra, Brahmaji, Ali, and Harsha are featured in the movie in supporting roles as well.
Appi Reddy and Ravireddy Sajjala are the producers of Mr Pregnant, which was written and directed by Srinvas Vinjanampati. Nizar Shafi handled the film’s cinematography, while Prawin Pudi handled the editing. Shravan Bharadwaj composed the music. In the comedy movie Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu, Sohel a former contestant on Big Boss Telugu, was paired up with Mirnalini Ravi. Following her debut in Venkatesh Mah’s Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya, Roopa Kouvayur stars in Mr Pregnant, her second film. Besides being a lawyer, Roopa Koduvayur is a physician.
