Future Hindi-language romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, also known as the “Love Story of Rocky and Rani,” will be directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. It will be made by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Starring in the movie are Dharmendra, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Ranveer Singh.
The movie’s announcement came in July 2021. August 2021 marked the start of principal photography, which was completed in March 2023. The movie was filmed in Russia, Jammu & Kashmir, Mumbai, and New Delhi. Manush Nandan is in charge of the film’s cinematography, and Pritam is in charge of the score. The movie is expected to be released on July 28, 2023.
The movie’s main photography started on August 20, 2021. The first schedule was held in Mumbai, and a song shoot featuring Singh and Bhatt took place in Moscow in September 2021. The second schedule began in Delhi in October 2021.
The spread of the Omicron variety caused the next schedule, which was originally set for early 2022, to be postponed. Lastly, the third schedule began in April 2022, close to Delhi and Mumbai. On August 1, 2022, Dharma Productions published a video declaring the completion of the movie, except for the recording of a song that had been put off because of Bhatt’s pregnancy. The song was shot in Jammu and Kashmir, bringing the movie’s runtime to March 2023.
