On Wednesday, August 9, 2023, the new 10-episode adult animated series “Strange Planet “will premiere internationally, according to a statement from Apple TV+ today. Based on the bestselling graphic novel and social media sensation of the same name that debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times bestselling graphic novel and social media sensation of the same name that debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list, “Strange Planet” is witty and insightful look at a far-off planet that is not dissimilar to our own, Relatable blue beings explore the absurdity of customs found in everyday human life in a whimsical world of cotton candy pinks and purples. Up until the season life finale on September 27, 2023, a new episode will air every Wednesday.
The Gotham Award-nominated Tunde Adebimpe (“Rachel Getting Married”), the Emmy Award-nominated Demi Adjuring (“The Amber Ruffin Show”), Lori Tan Chinn (“Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens”), the Critics’ Choice Award-nominated Danny Pudi (“Community”), and the Emmy Award-nominated Hannah Einbinder (“Hacks”) are among.
