Tendlya is an upcoming Marathi movie directed and written by Sachin Jadhav and Nachiket Waikar. It stars Ankita Yadav, Vitthal Nagnath Kale, Aman Kamble, Sambhaji Tangde, Mahendra Walunj, Adwaita Jadhav and many more.
Set in an interior village of Maharashtra, Tendlya is the story of two die-hard fans of Sachin Tendulkar. The first is a 10-year old boy who aspires to play like him while the other one, a 22-year-old, struggles to follow the values set by his idol.
Eight young men from the humble family of Varwa Tarka, who entered the film business, raised money to make Tendia Films. The film was set to release on his 24th April 2020, the birthday of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. All preparations have been made for this. But at the same time, the corona crisis has spread all over the world. They also had serious consequences in India and Maharashtra. Nevertheless, the situation has not improved significantly. On the contrary, the second wave of Corona has reached a critical stage. It shattered the dreams of everyone involved in the film. Due to Corona, the team for this film is in serious trouble.
