Even without pandemic, it would have been the same wedding’: Yami Gautam

The fourth of June marked the day Yami Gautam was off the dating market as she married Aditya Dhar, writer and director. The duo started talking during the promotion of ‘Uri: The surgical strike‘ which was released back in 2019, where Yami played a pivotal role. Fans got curious about their dating life as the wedding was simple and intimate after which Yami gave her share of their love story. She went on to say how they might not have a lot of similarities in terms of interests they have the very same values and way of living. She also added how they respect each other on professional and personal terms.

They announced the wedding on Instagram where the actress donned her mother’s red saree, a node ring and her grandmother’s dupatta. The makeup and hair department was taken care of her by her sister. The actress revealed how the couple did not want a pompous or grand wedding and always hoped to have an intimate ceremony. They wanted their wedding day to involve only them and her family which made up a total of twenty people who were the wedding crowd. The wedding also consisted of only Punjabi and Pahadi music. The actress is all set for the release of her horror-comedy movie ‘The Bhoot Police‘.
