Guard at Delhi Hospital dedicated to COVID-19 patients, dies of Coronavirus

A security guard who was appointed at the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital died of Coronavirus infection on Thursday. The hospital has been dedicated by the Delhi Government to the Coronavirus patients.

Also recently, numerous cases of health workers who tested positive were uncovered. Since the outbreak, many cases of health workers, nurses, guards were affected by the Coronavirus.

The Hospital expresses its deepest sympathies to the deceased guard’s family, in a statement.

Additionally, a mess worker and a staff member died from the Coronavirus infection in Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
In spite of the precautions being taken like sanitization and disinfection of surfaces in and around the hospital wards, the health workers are being infected.

India has entered the fourth phase of lockdown, with many restrictions eased. The present cases in India are 1,58,333.
