After the performance of Hardik Pandya became the go-to-all-rounder for India in white-ball cricket. He was regular in One Day International and T20 international team since 2016 and he had also played 11 tests till now. Pandya’s health became a miss fortune for him. His fitness issues hadn’t allowed him to join International series. He did not played for the country since 2019- but he is a best player in others view.
His absence from the international cricket due to his ill-fitness had created doubts over him and this kept him away from all-rounder spot. The all rounder and the best spinner Harbhajan Singh has no doubt over him regarding this. According to Harbhajan Singh he should automatically get selected in T20 world cup team if he is fit enough to show his talent.

“Hardik Pandya has not played after the planet cup. But i can offer you in writing that if he’s fit and regardless of whether the IPL takes place or not, when the team are going to be made he will be in the team needs to maintain combination, he has to be in the team. You need this kind of players. So some players can’t be judged on IPL form. It is for them who aren’t proven players,” he told to IANS Indo Asian News Service.
Firstly Pandya suffered from a back issue in 2018 during Asia Cup, because of which he was unable to perform for a few months. He was back to the national squad in 2019 and then he played white ball cricket in New Zealand. The problem because of his back forced him to miss India’s final series before World Cup- One Day Internationals which was against Australia.

Pandya played world cup which was rested for West Indies tour. He decided to go for a back surgery last year and the outcome was he was fit enough to return to international cricket 2020. As told by Harbhajan, he will be an automatic selection in the T20 World Cup squad, if he is fit enough.

Team India placed Shivam Dube in place of Pandya’s absence but he failed to do the opportunities properly and was dropped on the return of Pandya.
