The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in its recent statement has said that new guidelines to fight COVID-19 shall come into effect from 4th May, where relaxation from lockdown shall be considered for various districts.
These guidelines are issued in accordance with the Disaster Management Act.
The ministry has conducted a comprehensive review meeting on 20th April to discuss the lockdown situation. The ministry also stated that there has been a tremendous improvement in the situation.
As of now, the lockdown guidelines are required to be strictly observed until 3rd May. This nationwide lockdown was announced by PM Modi on 24th March.
According to the ministry’s statement, the details regarding the guidelines to be followed from 4th May shall be released soon.
