Legendary Bollywood performer Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 50th anniversary in the country’s film industry today.
The film “Saat Hindustani” by KA Abbas served as the catalyst for the career of the Shahenshah of Bollywood, who entered the business five years ago.
About the actor’s courageous decision to travel to Mumbai in order to pursue his Bollywood dreams, much has been said and written.
However, did you know that Abbas paid for his own rise to fame because he refused to pay for his travel to the big city without a guarantee of an audition date?
The movie didn’t do well financially when it came out, but Bachchan’s career was greatly advanced, and he even received a National Film Award for a promising newcomer.
In addition to many others, he went on to give some truly outstanding performances in the films “Zanjeer,” “Satte Pe Satta,” “Don,” “Deewar,” “Suhaag,” “Anand,” “Sholay,” “Paa,” and “Black.”
On the professional front, Big B and Taapsee Pannu will next be seen together in the March 8, 2019, release of “Badla.” In addition, he is completing Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the movie “Brahmastra.”
