Imran continued acting after Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and starred in a number of films, including Delhi Belly, I Hate Luv Stories, Break Ke Baad, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, and Matru Ke Bijli Ka Mandola.
Nikkhil Advani’s Katti Batti was the last film he appeared in.
His followers are still hoping he will make a comeback after more than seven years.
Imran might even start acting again at some point.
The actor recently made a comeback to Bollywood implication.
On Tuesday, a supporter wrote in the comments section of Zeenat Aman’s Instagram post: “Zeenat ji ne bhi comeback karlia, patani mera @imrankhan kab karega.”
Imran answered, “Chalo Aditi, let’s leave this to the internet… I’ll work to get the desired 1 million likes (hands-shake emoji).
Even more, he posted on Instagram Stories with the caption, “Taking notes on how to make a comeback from Zeenat ji.”
After taking a break from acting, Imran returned in 2018 as a director, directing the short film Mission Mars: Keep Walking India, but then he vanished once more.
