Netflix India recently announced its bunch of movies that are set to release in 2021. Fans were already excited for its original contents, the crime drama series Jamtara gets a viable one. The first season was premiered last year in January, it received positive reviews from the critics. IMDB rating of 7.3, the original crime series also impressed the viewers.

Widely regarded as the hud of Internet scam and phishing operations in India. Jamtara is the home of banks and insurance organisations frauds that people like us encounter on a regular basis. Every year, thousands of people get duped by fake banks and insurance companies agents. Netflix’s series is based on these cases. Sharing a joke based on the show, Netflix also wrote, “ALSO, remind us not to give our bank details to callers who claim to have news about the new season. We don’t want to fall for this again”.
The show narrates the unbelievable true story of a group of young men operating a phishing organization. A disagreement led two cousins to end up against each other. They end up being on the two heads of two different political divides, hence, leading to agitation. Meanwhile, the Jharkhand police are on a mission to catch hold of the criminals.
