On Tuesday morning, Actress Kajol posted a photo on her Instagram. She is dressed in a traditional Marathi Saree, with traditional jewellery, including both. She is also seen sporting a big red bindi.
In the post, she wrote, “ नव्या सकलपांनी करुया नववर्षचा शुभारभं गुढीपाडव्याचा हार्दिक शुभेच्छा” which translates to “Let’s start the new year with new resolutions, Happy Gudi Padwa”.
Gudi Padwa is a spring festival that marks the new year of the Hindu calendar. It is majorly celebrated across Maharashtra. It is celebrated with colourful rangoli, traditional dresses and flags of Gudi which is the flag of Lord Brahma.
Kajol is looking absolutely beautiful in the picture. Fans were thrilled to see her in this traditional look and complimented the Marathi Beauty.
