Today is Lohri, the first festival of the year 2021. Lohri is the Punjabi winter folk festival which marks the end of the winter solstice and starting of longer days. Bollywood is also ready to sing and dance the bhangra and gidda on the beat of the Dhol.
Kangana Ranaut shared her childhood photo of celebrating Lohri with her family while reminiscing those good old days with her family in her hometown Himachal Pradesh. Kangana captioned the pic as “In Himachal, we have a tradition of singing Lohri, when I was small, children made groups and sang Lohri in neighbourhoods and collected money/sweets, children in villages and joint families have much more fun than city kids in nuclear families, anyway #HappyLohri2021.” Kangana’s upcoming movies are Thalaivi, Dhaakad and Tejas.
