Kangana Ranaut’s new movie Thalaivii was quite hype since the promotions started. The movie was recently released and had even been released on Netflix. It is the biopic of the actor-turned-politician Jayalalithaa. Even the trailer created a huge hype among the fans.
However, the movie might not be doing that well. The producers had expected a lot and the actress seemed to be a bit furious about it. She recently posted on Instagram “Rarely a film loved passionately and unanimously… And Thalaivii is one such film… I am glad people getting to know Purchai Thalaivi Dr J. Jayalalithaa’s story. also big thanks to my team for making a film which is a shining diamond in my filmography. #gratitude.”
She also added, “Meanwhile waiting for Bollywood Mafia to keep our political and ideological differences aside just how I don’t find it difficult to appreciate genuine art maybe they can also rise above petty human emotions and for once let art win #Thalaivii.”
Kangana had always been local about Bollywood actually not opening up to the outsiders. The theatrical release was not much of help for the movie as many states, especially Mumbai have closed theatres. This made a few losses that might have hampered their calculations.
