Kolkata Police’s special task force arrests wanted JBM terrorist Abdul Karim

Kolkata Police’s Special Task Force has achieved success on Friday in arresting Abdul Karim alias Boro Abdul Karim who belongs to a terror outfit, Jamat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). He was arrested from Suti PS area at Jangipur in Murshidabad district.

The officer said, “He had provided shelter to JMB leaders from Bangladesh, who were directly involved in the Bodh Gaya blast. He was arrested in this morning from Suti police station area of Murshidabad.”

On January 19, 2018, a bomb blast took place in Bodh Gaya and on the basis of suspicion, police raided Karim’s house and a huge quantity of explosives have been found. But police could not be successful in catching Karim.

He is the main leader of Dhuliyan module and also one of the top three JMB operatives who are wanted in India. Meanwhile, pollce will seek his custody once he will be produced before court today.
