Raj Kundra has been seen in public for the first time since he was released on bail in September. The businessman and his family went to Himachal Pradesh for a holiday and Raj was seen visiting a temple with his wife Shilpa Shetty. The two were seen twinning in yellow for a spiritual walk. Pictures of Raj Kundra’s first public outing after his controversial arrest are going viral on the internet.
Last month it was reported that Raj Kundra had deleted his social media profile. An avid Instagram and Twitter user, the businessman decided to delete all his accounts. On the other hand, Shilpa Shetty keeps attracting her followers on Instagram with fitness videos and family pictures.
Raj Kundra was arrested in July in connection with an investigation into the production and distribution of pornographic material. Their offices in Mumbai were raided by the Mumbai Police. Raj came out of jail on September 21, two months after his arrest in the case. The police, in a 1,500-page supplementary charge sheet, had claimed that Kundra was the “key facilitator” in the case and that he, along with other accused, exploited women struggling in the film industry by filming them in an obscene manner. In his plea, Raj Kundra had claimed that he was being made a ‘scapegoat’ in the case and there was not a single allegation against him in the entire supplementary charge sheet.
