The England midfielder has called several captains of the best fight clubs to ask them to be one in this time and donate money for the health professionals working front line.

The reaction got positive results. Players were energetic to raise funds for fighting the COVID-19. The funds are initiated by the advice of the government and NHS.

It is understood talks are already underway with banks to set up the fund, and players will be asked to donate whatever they decide is right, due to the wide variation of salaries across the Premier League.

It is predicted that millions could be raised out of players who top the fight clubs and it can become a great support to NHS workers and those who are helpless.

Henderson has made it clear he doesn’t want the credit of the scheme and was a little disappointed for the plans being disclosed to the public before it could be officially set up. The plans for this new player- the led initiative also pre-dates health secretary Matt Hancock’s scathing calls to Premier League stars to ‘play their part’ on Thursday.

The politicians insisted on cutting the salaries of top footballers rather than their non-playing club colleagues.
