Lockdown to ease in Delhi from Monday except in containment zones

With the Lockdown 2.O ending today and Lockdown 3.O already in place for the next 2 weeks, but his time a little relaxation in the lockdown rules has been allowed.
All the regions have been divided into Red, Orange, and Green zones, depending on the number of cases that have been reported, which decides the severity of the disease in that area.

Also, with the request of State Governments, and the fall in economies, and also the people’s plead to get access to various resources, the Center has announced few relaxations for the regions that are not containment zones.

These are the regulations. All standalone shops selling essential and non-essential goods are allowed to operate with 33 per cent strength, in the non-containment zones of Delhi, declared the local authorities, after not less than a 40-day lockdown.
With 96 containment zones in the national capital, utterly no activity is permitted. And all the restrictions will be in place.

Initially, a report was released declaring all the 11 districts as containment ones. Though, later it was decided upon categorizing the wards, to ensure the areas that haven’t reported even a single case can have relaxations in the lockdown. The capital has a total of 232 wards.

Also, according to the MHA’s guidelines, private cars with two people at most and two-wheelers are permitted to move in the red zones, given they do not belong to special categories like SEZ’s (Special Economic Zones), manufacturing plants of essential goods and IT hardware, among others will be allowed.
Liquor shops, which have been shut since March 22 will also be opened from Monday.

Shops in Urban areas may be opened irrespective of essential and non-essential goods, except for those in malls and supermarkets.
Delhi has reached 4122 cases with 64 deaths.
