Ministry of Home Affairs extends lockdown till May 17

The lockdown 2.0 won’t end on May 3. It will be continue till May 17. Ministry of Home Affairs announced this news. They said “After a comprehension review, and in a view of the lockdown measures having led to significant gains in the COVID-19 situation in the country, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India issued an order under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, today, to further extend the lockdown for a further period of two weeks beyond May 4, 2020.”
In this order it is stated that school, colleges, public transport, mall, cinema, train, flights will be suspended for next two weeks in India. Place of worship will be also be closed for next two weeks in India.
There are total 130 districts which are under red zone, and they will be no relaxation for the areas which has been under red zone.
Big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow are all in under red zone. UP has the 19 districts falling under red zone.
There are total 284 districts which are under orange zone. They will be some relaxation in this areas but people have to follow rules and regulations.
Total 319 district are under green zone. Places where there’s no new coronavirus case has been registered for last 21 days will be under green zone.
