Mizoram to impose complete 2 weeks lockdown in the state starting from June 9

Breaking News for people of Mizoram as Chief Minister Zoramthanga announced on Monday imposing another lockdown from 9th of June for two weeks.

With the enormous amount of rising Covid-19 cases in Mizoram, with the total of 42 as of now, while it was only 34 on Sunday and 24 on Saturday, whereas only one of the patient recovered.

While the State remains unrest with the uprising cases, Chief Minister took the decision after conducting a meeting with members of the legislature, government officials, non-government hospital associations, NGO’s, church leaders, village and local council members, taskforce on the states approach towards the outbreak.

Right after the meeting was held, Mizoram’s CM announced in his recent tweet that the total lockdown will be starting from midnight till 2 weeks and anyone Coming to the state will have to undergo 21 days quarantine. “Home quarantine options will be limited to extreme unavoidable cases.

The Mizoram government will soon come up with updated details guidelines about the total lockdown or might even go for more than 2 weeks.
