As we all are well aware that because of the coronavirus outbreak, a lot of activities came to a hold. Now, to raise the spirits of the students of the batch 2020, our celebs gave a heartfelt mesmerizing performance to the class of 2020.

In the times of technical advancements in the society, many celebrities joined in to bid the batch a warm goodbye. Yes, they arranged an online graduation party. Isn’t that amazing? A little contribution for a better state of minds for children was a very kind deed on their parts!

The performance was a live show on YouTube which involved a lot of celebrities like Swift, Michelle Obama our former Prime minister of USA Barack Obama, Katy Perry, BTS, Beyoncé, Maluma Doja Cat etc.

The Event:

Dear Class of 2020 was earlier supposed to be held on June 5 but was pushed back due to the death of George Floyd and the ensuing protests and riots. This event was a four-hour-long live stream on YouTube Originals.

All these celebrities performed in the event bidding our batch of 2020 a warm farewell and wished them good luck for their future endeavours. Taylor Swift talked about how had she dreamt about her Graduation Day throughout her school life but couldn’t be a part of it because she was chasing her musical career. Obama’s represented their grief about the ongoing protests and gave their heartfelt speech on the death of George Floyd and all other black people.

The event was named “Dear batch of 2020”. The whole motive was to send good vibes across the globe giving the graduation to the graduates who deserve it right. A gesture of happiness and positivity was noticed. I guess we all appreciated the sweet gestures of these people who performed in this event. The world is becoming a very bad place to live, a little love never goes out of hand. A little support, and that tap on the back! We are set to be the motion again. Prajakta Kohli, an Indian YouTuber was also a part of the event. She represented Whole India on her behalf!
