On the occasion of 11 years of the Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer My Name is Khan, director Karan Johar paid an emotional tribute to the 2010 blockbuster.
On his Instagram page, he posted a short clip of certain scenes from the movie while thanking his lead actors who also happen to be the “Best on-screen couple“ Shah Rukh who he fondly refers to as “bhai” and Kajol who he fondly refers to as Rizwan’s rock (Shah Rukh’s character from the movie). He also thanked the writer Shibani. All this in a beautiful touching caption “All we have is our stories and this one will be cherished forever. Thank you bhai for being the soul of this film. Kajol for being an unbreakable rock to Rizwan and us. To Shibani for writing a story that is still relevant in today’s world… And to the entire team that embarked on this challenging journey together. I will always be grateful to each and every one of you.”
Celebrity friends and fans reminisced in the comments over how beautiful and touching the movie is. A certain comment that caught our attention was from a user who commented “We miss you three. Please make another masterpiece with Shah Rukh and Kajol, the world is waiting for you.” And we feel almost all of us can agree with this user’s comment.
