On the first day of India Today Conclave 2021 held at Taj Hotel, New Delhi the guests were actor Vicky Kaushal and director Shoojit Sircar. Both opened up about their upcoming film Sardar Udham. Sardar Udham is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language biographical historical drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino Works.
The film is about Udham Singh (known as Sher Singh) who is released from prison in Punjab in British India.
In the conclave, the director and actor shared their experiences about being a part of such a movie. They spoke about how the director shot the film on a limited budget, and the most difficult scene they had the shoot.
