After arresting several celebrities, and among them Aryan Khan, who is Sharukh Khan’s son. The NCB has been investing in the drugs case that has been found from the cruise ship. However, we are yet to be informed of further actions.
In a recent interview with ANI, the Chief of NCB, SN Pradhan informed that they have not said anything to the public as they are still assessing the case. They are yet to know how much everyone was involved and the number of drugs consumed or smuggled. He said “The proceedings were already taking place. We are constantly gathering intelligence. We took action once the inputs that we received were confirmed.“
He was also asked about the fact that why is NCB going for celebrities so much recently. To this, he replied “ It is not the job of NCB to find out from which industry and who are joining. Who is the son of an industrialist, who is the son of a film star, this is not our work. Our job is to take action on an equal scale and we are taking action on the same scale and this action will continue in the future also. Whoever is found involved in this network, irrespective of the industry they belong to, we will take action.”
It is yet to be seen how much Aryan Khan will be punished, and if he will get off easily.
