Amole Gupta’s ‘Saina’ is all set to release next week on the 26th of March, 2021. The upcoming movie is a biopic of the Indian Badminton player, Saina Nehwal, who has inspired billions. Following her path is a huge challenge as is trying to capture all her aspects and achievements in a story you wish to tell. It was surely an equal challenge for Parineeti to perform for the titular role.
However, She managed not just to act like Saina but also look like her in the movie. Earlier today, Parineeti shared a still from the movie featuring herself as Saina.
She captioned the post, “Thrilled to be able to do THIS as an actor once in my life. 🏸🙏 #SainaXParineeti #Grateful” The pictures bear an uncanny resemblance to the champion, from the body language to the look, to expression and every single accessory.
Parineeti worked very closely with her team to make sure that every little detail is considered and not ignored. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rahsesh Shah under T-Series and Front Foot Pictures’ banner. The initial release was set in September 2020 but got postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
