She has been in the news recently due to the upcoming release of two of her movies. One of which is set to be released on coming Friday, 19th of March, 2021, where she will be seen in the leading role opposite Arjun Kapoor. The movie, ‘Sandeep and Pinky faraar’ is directed by Dibakar Banerjee.
The second much-awaited movie, that Parineeti is set to be part of, is ‘Saina’- the biopic of Saina Nehwal, where she will be playing the titular role. The movie is set to be released next week on the 26th of March, 2021. Parineeti shared the trailer of this movie on Women’s Day, on Instagram.
The official trailer was shared on YouTube on the same day and has already received more than 9million views, 206K likes and 9K comments.
Parineeti made her acting debut in ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ (2011), for which she won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.
Her previous achievements include blockbusters like ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012), for which she won the National Film Award in Special Mention category, ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ (2013), ‘Golmaal Again’ (2017) and Kesari (2019).
