Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said Indian railways has operated 1034 special trains to transport the migrants since May 1

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday said that the Indian has operated 1,034 special trains to transport the migrants since May 1st.

In a tweet Piyush Goyal said,’To provide relief to migrant labour, Railways has operated 1,034 special trains out which 106 train was operated yesterday.

He also said on twitter, a state like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh has taken steps positively and 80% of the total special trains have been operated for these two states.

The Indian Railways has started run shrank special trains to transport the migrant’s workers, students, pilgrims and tourist since May 1.

Till today Railway has transported over 12 lakh people across the country in these special trains.

According to Railway till Friday there are 474 special trains operated to Uttar Pradesh and 52 more are in a row while there are 248 special trains operated to Bihar and 21 are in a row.
