He shared an old picture of the two, where Sanjay looks visibly young. He wrote how his father was ‘everything’ to him, and was not only a parent but also ‘an idol, a friend, a mentor. His fans flooded the comments section with tributes to the late actor.
Sanjay Dutt followed his parents’ footsteps and debuted in the film industry with the movie ‘Rocky’, which released in 1981. After that, he has worked in a number of critically acclaimed and commercial film, including ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ in which he worked alongside his father, ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’,’ Vaastav’, ‘Naam’, ‘Agneepath’ and many more. He has also had a biopic made on him, in which Ranbir Kapoor played him.
