Recently, Son of Shahrukh Khan, Aryan khan has been detained in case of drugs. Satish Maneshinde is high profile lawyer and he will be defending khan’s son before the court against the charges pressed by the Narcotics Control Bureau, NCB.
Satish Maneshinde is a 56-year-old lawyer, is known for high profile cases. He has defended top Bollywood stars and their family members in the past in many such cases. He was part of the legal team that was representing actor Sanjay Dutt in the 1993 blasts case. Satish Maneshinde had secured bail for Sanjay Dutt at the time. He also secured bail for superstar Salman Khan in the 2002 drink and drive case. He also fought for Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik in drug cases. They were also granted bail by the court.
Aryan Khan was arrested on Sunday after the Narcotics Control Bureau raided a rave party onboard Cordelia’s Empress Cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on Saturday. The investigators alleged that they had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash from Aryan and others.
