A senior railway official has been tested positive for the coronavirus. Including him, the Rail Bhavan sums up to 3 people getting into the clutches of the pandemic. The officer was working on the cadre restructuring of the Railway Protection Force Service. Her last working day was May 13 as an RPF staff was tested positive and the while headquarter had to be shut for sanitization. It was shut from May 14 to May 15.
There are a joint secretary officer and other staff, who came in contact with her, we’re told to isolate themselves. The officer was sent for a 14 day quarantine period. The officer normal course of work also involved dealing with people from the Secretary’s branch.
