Farhan Akhtar is going to be back on the big screen with the release of his much-anticipated film Toofan. The drama, which was earlier slated for a theatrical release in October 2020, will now release on OTT platform Amazon Prime on 21st May 2021. Talking about the movie, Farhan is going to play the role of a national-level boxer. We will know more details after the release of the teaser tomorrow.
Shibani Dandekar, the actor’s longtime girlfriend, couldn’t contain her excitement and shared the poster of the movie on her Instagram handle. Along with that, she wrote, “Life taught him to fight. Love taught him what to fight for #toofaanonprime, teaser out tomorrow at 12PM. World premiere, May 21.” She is really excited about Farhan’s big-screen return.
The duo has been dating for a while now, and their Instagram handles are full of pictures of them together. The actor garnered a lot of praise for his last movie, “The Sky is Pink,” released in 2019, which also featured Priyanka Chopra. Shibani, who is also an actor, was last featured in the film Noor, released in 2017. She also co-hosted the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
