Shraddha is the daughter of the actor, Shakti Kapoor. Her debut role was a brief one in ‘Teen Patti’ (2010). Her acting breakthrough came in the blockbuster romance ‘Aashiqui’ (2013), for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She went on to star in Vaishali Bhardwaj’s ‘Haider’ (2014), Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain’ (2014), Remo D’Souza’s dance drama ‘ABCD 2’ (2015), Sabbir Khan’s ‘Baaghi’ (2016), Amar Kaushik’s ‘Stree’ (2018), Sujeeth’s ‘Saaho’ (2019) and Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’ (2019).
She was last seen in ‘Street Dancer 3D’ (2020) and ‘Baaghi 3’ (2020). She will be next seen in Vishal Furia’s ‘Naagin’ and Luv Ranjan’s, as of yet, untitled movie.
In 2015, Shraddha launched a line of clothing for women named Imara.
