Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra’s movie Shershaah is all set to hit the big screen on 2nd July 2021.
The Ek Villan star took to social media to share a new poster of the much-anticipated film that shows the actor in the military uniform along with the announcement of the releasing date. The movie also features Kiara Advani in the lead role and it also stars Pawan Chopra in a pivotal role.
SherShaah is based on the life of ParamVeer Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra an, officer of the Indian Army who fought in the Kargil war in June 1999. The student of the year fame actor looked convincing, dressed as an Indian shoulder and donning a rugged and intense look in the backdrop of war scenes in the poster of the films. The poster of the movie captioned as “The untold true story of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) is all set to unravel on the big screens. #Shershaah coming to theatres near you on 2nd July 2021. See you at the movies!“.
In January, Dharma Productions shared the first posters of the biopic of the war hero. “An an absolute honour to be able to paint the big screen with shades of bravery & sacrifice. The film is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Vishnu Vardhan. Apart from Shershaah, Siddharth has a number of projects that he is doing including ‘ Thank God, Mission Majnu and Aankhen 2.
