The untimely death of Sidharth Shukla took not only the fans but also the entire industry by surprise. The actor passed away on the second of September after suffering a major cardiac arrest. His body was taken to his house and then the Oshiwara crematorium where the last rites were performed. The actor became a household name after his success in shows like Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak, Big Boss, and many more. The funeral was attended by many of his friends including the participants in the Big Boss house.
A prayer was held by the Shukla family in the honor of the late actor on the 6th of September, 5:00 pm which was attended virtually. the Shukla’s also released their first statement since the celebrity’s death with the following words, “Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever! Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve,” the statement read. A special Thank You to the Mumbai Police force for their sensitivity and compassion. They have been like a shield, protecting us and standing by us every minute of the day!
