The demand for video call platforms have been on a surge since the lockdown has come into effect in different parts of the world which presents a big opportunity to all the tech companies.

To make the platform more user friendly, Skype has launched a new feature for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Web applications in which people can blur or change their backgrounds. This has been done to compete with Zoom which already had such a feature. Zoom is a video calling app the popularity of which has been on a rise from past few days.
Here’s the procedure to change the background during a video call-
- Click the Video icon or on the More Menu
- Click on choose background effect
- Select the background of your choice by adding the image
