Some districts declare as a red zone in Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir

Few regions in the capital Jammu were on Monday announced as control zones or red zones following location of new coronavirus cases remembering one passing for the most recent 24 hours, authorities said.

The authorities included that, District Development Commissioner, Jammu, Sushma Chauhan declared municipal ward number 52, 53 and 54 of Trikuta Nagar, metropolitan ward number 48 of Gurkha Nagar, Kalyanpura and Channi-Mawallian towns in Kanachak and Simbal and Kharian towns of Miran Sahib as red zones.

Citing the various requests gave by Chauhan, they said the zones were proclaimed control or red zones after identification of latest cases including one demise.

A 63-year-old legal advisor, hailing from Trikuta Nagar, kicked the bucket of coronavirus at a private emergency clinic here, while over twelve new cases were accounted for from various pieces of Jammu region which falls in the orange zone that saw expanded monetary exercises with the opening of shops and business foundations since May 20.

Giving four separate requests to announce new red zones in the region, Chauhan said the as of now gave standard working system (SOP) would apply to the red zone towns which would stay under exacting lockdown and tight edge control, aside from basic needs.

Any infringement of this request will welcome correctional activity under 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other significant areas of the Epidemic Disease Act and the Disaster Management Act said in the request.
